Agamemnon Otero MBE and Co-Founder of Repowering at Future Resource Expo
Agamemnon Otero MBE is the Co-Founder of Repowering, and Director of Brixton Energy, Energy Garden and Clean Marine.The Uruguayan-born, New York-raised community entrepreneur is a recognised figure in the renewable energy industry that is leading the way to tackle energy usage of the UK’s largest energy consumer- TfL.
Having previously been the Director for Renewable Energy Project Finance and Social Responsibility at a financial institution and CFO for a renewable energy trading company. He is currently project managing a 12.5 MW community-owned renewable energy and gardening project Energy Garden, as well as managing operations for marine transport infrastructure company Clean Marine.
With the goal of reducing energy and food costs from living in London, Otero set about creating a program that would do just that. From this, Repowering London was formed. Working with housing associations, local authorities and residence to provide community owned renewable energy. So far Repowering London has also provided support for 30 “energy gardens” at overground stations across the capital, as well as 4 solar energy projects on social housing developments.

Agamemnon will be speaking at the Future Resource Expo. The Future Resource Expo will be running alongside 4 other environmental shows, including RWM, the UK’s largest recycling and waste management.
