Clive Murray is the CEO of London Commodity Brokers, a recognised international leader in commodity broking, with offices in London, Dubai, India and Singapore. Clive has had wide-spread success in developing new markets for globally traded commodities and financial market.

London Commodity Brokers was set up where Clive played a pivotal role in developing the global OTC physically traded coal and iron ore markets. His aim has always been to bring about transparency and efficiency into those markets and he now aims to continue the trend within new areas and hopes to replicate this success within the global water industry.

Clive, as CEO of London Dry Bulk, led the charge to move the Iron Ore industry away from an annual benchmarking system and to indexation of physical contracts and a derivative market. LDB brokered the world’s first Iron Ore derivative on SGX as well as the first deals on ICE, CME and LCH.

Now Clive aims to shed light on the potential of trading water as a commodity. Clive believes that pricing water encourages water saving and the better handling of wastage.
