Chris Hewett the Chief Executive of the Solar Trade Association at Future Resource Expo
Chris is the Chief Executive of the Solar Trade Association. He has 25 years experience in advocacy, policy research, thought leadership and campaigning on a wide variety of sustainability, energy and environmental issues.
Chris is well regarded as a leader in this field and as such has held many prestigious roles throughout his career. He was Head of Climate Change for the Environment Agency, providing advice to Government on climate change mitigation and adaptation. Chris is also an associate of Green Alliance, where he has written on the Green Investment Bank, environmental tax reform and sustainable savings policy. Previously head of Climate Change at the Environment Agency and senior research fellow for sustainability at the Institute for Public Policy Research.
As the Chief Executive of the STA, Chris aims to provide businesses with a greater understanding of how they can take advantage of the falling costs of solar and battery storage to reduce energy bills.
