Clive has had wide-spread success in developing new markets for globally traded commodities and financial market. Clive set up London Commodity Brokers where he played a pivotal role in developing the global OTC physically traded coal and iron ore markets. His aim has always been to bring about transparency and efficiency into those markets and he now aims to continue the trend within new areas and hopes to replicate this success within the global water industry.
Water as a traded commodity ‘’ Lets put a price on water’’
Water infrastructure, cannot begin to be planned and financed on a truly commercial scale without investors knowing the water price.
Pricing water encourages water saving and the better handling of wastage, it also allows it to be correlated and traded against other asset classes, agriculture, energy and mining.
