Water as a traded commodity ‘’ Lets put a price on water’’
Water infrastructure, cannot begin to be planned and financed on a truly commercial scale without investors knowing the water price.
Pricing water encourages water saving and the better handling of wastage, it also allows it to be correlated and traded against other asset classes, agriculture, energy and mining.
