Keep Britain Tidy

Rachel is responsible for all the Litter and Place services team and developing and managing the delivery of the current services including The Keep Britain Tidy Network, training, Keep Britain Tidy Award, LEQ surveys, consultancy and packaged litter solutions such as #CrimeNotToCare – fly-tipping campaign and ‘We’re Watching You’ – dog fouling campaign.
With over 20 years’ experience across the public, private and third sector. Rachel started her career at the University of Liverpool in finance and auditing, before taking on a business development role within the University’s Graduate into Employment unit. She then moved to Groundwork Merseyside, progressing to the role of Business Services Manager where her three main areas of focus were environmental business consultancy, the ENWORKS Resource Efficiency Programme and the 80 20 Foundation a responsible business membership for large and small organisations across Merseyside . Rachel joined Keep Britain Tidy in 2012 as the Keep Britain Tidy Network Manager responsible for developing and delivering the Keep Britain Tidy Network. The membership champions the professional sector for local environmental quality and the waste sector and delivers the annual Network Conference and Awards for Network members.

She is now the Litter and Place Services Manager and is passionate about the environment and the impacts Keep Britain Tidy can have. She sits on the National Fly-tipping prevention Group and is an experienced project and people manager who has excellent organisational and client management skills. Rachel understands the litter agenda and is able to talk with authority on solutions to improving Local Environmental Quality.
